Roland Beaufre studied plastic arts and architecture at École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts. His career started in Paris in 1979 when he began to work for magazines like Décoration Internationale, Vogue Décoration, and Connaissance des Arts. Today, the veteran lensman lives in Paris.
